Your suite in the heart of Nice
Set down your suitcases in the centre of Old Nice, in the very elegant Rue Paradis, a street that is particularly aptly named. Pedestrianised and quiet, lined with colourful Belle Epoque and Art Deco buildings, it is the heart of the Carré d'Or, the chic quarter of Nice. Renovated in 2023-2024 and situated close to luxury boutiques, such as those of Chanel and Vuitton, Le Dortoir Boutique Suites await you in a charming separate building.
Its rooms and suites located on the upper floors (no elevator) command a magnificent view from their balconies of the city, the Place Magenta, the peaks of the Mercantour National Park, and the sea. Accessible via your own personalised code, they offer a designer setting of luxurious materials and refined style where you can feel completely relaxed.
Treat yourself to sessions of blissful pampering in your private hammam, enjoy the rhythm of the city from your terrace, and explore the Place Massena just 100 metres away, as well as the Promenade des Anglais and the Old Town...
Warm, welcoming, and comfortable, Le Dortoir is also a place where art has pride of place. For our rooms and corridors, we called on the services of artists to give life and personality to each space.
For example, in one of the corridors of the second floor, you will come across a sculpture integrated into the wall, created by Xjibex.
You will also find, like a common thread, a painting by Jacques Pelissier in each of the rooms, giving them their own personality and atmosphere. An artist from Nice, Jacques Pelissier is a friend whom it was natural to call on when we wished to create the soul of Le Dortoir. Through this series of portraits en pâte which adorn the rooms and suites, he demonstrates both his research into the material and his admiration for the great names in art. Enjoy your break in Nice under the gaze of Yves Saint-Laurent, Warhol and Basquiat or even Coco Chanel... We also invite you, during your stay, to visit the studio of Jacques Pelissier and discover other facets of his work.
Your cocoon of comfort and refinement in the heart of Nice
Due to their furnishings, decor and view, each room of Le Dortoir has its own personality and atmosphere. This specificity is reinforced by the presence of a particular work by Jacques Pelissier, different in each room. All taken from the series of portraits en pâte by the Nice artist, they create a unique aesthetic touch.
